HOW TO PREPARE YOUR QUILT FOR LONGARM QUILTING
-
Press quilt top and backing well. Make sure all seams lie flat.

-
Trim loose threads.

-
Keep the quilt top and backing separate. Do not baste or pin.

-
The quilt back should be 4" larger on each side. For example: if the quilt top is 50" x 50" then the quilt backing should be 58" x 58".

-
Use a wide seam, 1/2" or larger for quilt backing seams.

-
If the quilt top or quilt backing has a top and bottom please mark the top with a piece of paper attached with a pin.
